Newport RI - Breakers, Elms and the Marble House

It was unfortunate that when we were in Newport, only 3 of the mansions were opened for touring. We decided to buy the combo ticket to all 3 mansions for USD28 per pax.

THE BREAKERS

Out of the 3 mansions, The Breakers is my absolute favorite! Unfortunately, photography was only allowed outside the mansions.

If you think the exteriors of the mansions look amazing....wait till you see the inside. They were the most opulent interior decorations I've ever seen in my life!

There are altogether 70 rooms in The Breakers! Just the dining room alone is over 2400 sqft! And it was only a summer "cottage"....the owners only occupied it like 5-6weeks in the entire year!
